Access phone number

 

The phone number you call to reach our bridge equipment, which lets you begin or enter your conference call.

 

Conference Entry Code

 

Also called "passcode". A six or seven digit code participants enter after they have connected to the conference call, which subsequently leads them to the correct meeting.

 

Dial-In Code (Pass code)

 

Audio conference code used by moderators and participants to access the teleconference.

 

Participants

 

This refers to people attending the conference call but who are not moderating the conference.

 

Participant Speaker

 

One of the conference call attendees may speak while the other members of the call are muted. This is normally found during presentation style calls.

 

Moderator

 

The moderator is the person hosting or conducting the conference call, determining and controlling all aspects of the conference from start to finish.

 

Moderator Code

 

This is the pin number used by the host of the conference call to activate the meeting.

 

Telecommunications

 

Telecommunication is the transmission of signals over a distance for the purpose of communication.

 

Teleconference

 

A conference call held among people in different locations by means of telephones.

 

URL

 

URL stands for Universal Resource Locator or a web address.
